The race for Wisconsin’s Senate seat is heating up as Republican candidate Leah Vukmir devastated her opponent Sen. Tammy Baldwin with an ad criticizing Baldwin’s take on socialized medicine.
While Democrats have steadily championed their stance on healthcare to draw in voters, Vukmir turned it around with her video ad featuring a woman suffering from a rare lung disease.
The patient, Theresa, then has this to say about her disease and socialist healthcare:
“It’s hard to breathe and it’s terrifying, that’s what a rare lung disease does when it picks you. I wouldn’t be here without my insurance. Sen. Baldwin wants to eliminate private health insurance. She wants the government to choose when I can see my doctor and what care I receive. Sen. Baldwin is so radicle, it literally takes my breath away.”
Do you think this will be enough to win over voters in Wisconsin?
