Michael Avenatti seems to be in a downward spiral as events are cancelled amid allegations of domestic violence.
After hounded both President Donald Trump and Justice Brett Kavanaugh over their alleged misdeeds with women, it feels like karma is finally catching up to the attorney.
A felony domestic violence charge was filed against Avenatti by a woman who appeared to have a “swollen and bruised” face with “red marks” on both cheeks.
He has denied the allegations after posting bail, but the effects are already starting to show.
Avenatti had previously shown an interest in running against Trump in 2020, but that seems to be disappearing quickly.
The first example being the Vermont Democratic Party cancelling his events for the weekend.
The Vermont Democratic Party’s Communication’s Director R. Christopher Di Mezzo gave a statement to confirm that tickets to the events would be refunded.
“It has been widely reported by ABC News and other outlets that Michael Avenatti has been arrested in Los Angeles, California on charges of suspected felony domestic violence.”
“The Vermont Democratic Party has cancelled Mr. Avenatti’s forthcoming scheduled appearances in Vermont, and will be refunding all ticket sales,” Di Mezzo continued.
Avenatti is scheduled to appear in court on December 5 over the charges. However many believe the damage has already been done to his political aspirations.
