As border tension reaches a fever pitch, White House senior adviser Kellyanne Conway supplied some elegantly simple advice.
Instead of fighting the government that is trying to protect U.S. borders and uphold legitimate immigration, Conway suggested people could aid migrants by helping them come to the country legally.
“Try to help,” she said, “Who’s helping them to realize how they can immigrate here legally?”
Conway added, “there are peaceful and legal ways to come to this country and I would say to those women and their children that they should go ahead and look at those options.”
This comes amid President Trump’s claims to shut down the government if he doesn’t receive funding for the wall he campaigned to build.
