After President Trump delivered his State of the Union address, Stacey Abrams presented the Democrats response. But it was far from accurate.
The former Georgia state legislator who very publicly lost her battle for governor stated, “The Republican tax bill rigged the system against working people,” and that, “rather than bringing back jobs, plants are closing, layoffs are looming, and wages struggle to keep pace with the actual cost of living.”
While there are some manufacturers that have downsized, like General Motors, in the bigger picture all forms of employment are up since Trump became president and signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
This past January listed a 4.9 million increase in nonfarm employment, while manufacturing employment rose 454,000.
If that wasn’t enough, weekly earnings have gone up for nearly all sectors across the board. It seem the liberal media should try some “fact checking” on their own crowd.
