Delivering a speech in Vancouver, former President and hypocrite Barrack Obama has been caught lying while trying to trash President Donald Trump.
Speaking to the crowd, Obama made this remark:
“The nature of things that wind up on your desk are by definition things that other people find unsolvable. For all the mistakes we made, we didn’t make mistakes of integrity, and I’m proud that we left office without a scandal.”
Aside from essentially saying that President Trump tackles problems that no one else can, Obama seems to have conveniently omitted all the “mistakes of integrity” that occurred during his eight years on office.
Let’s review them, shall we?
How about the Banghazi incident? In 2012 four Americans, U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, foreign service officer Sean Smith, and CIA contractors Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods were killed in the U.S. consulate of Benghazi, Lybia.
The issue became even more alarming when Hillary Clinton falsely claimed that the attacks were prompted by a Youtube video. Yet separate communications with her daughter and the Egyptian prime minister revealed that Hillary actually considered the attack to be planned be terrorists.
Another example is Operation Fast and Furious. The hope was to track the sales of illegal guns, yet it resulted in illegal sales of nearly 2,000 guns that many believe went directly to Mexican drug cartels.
There is also the shady meeting between former President Bill Clinton and then Attorney General Loretta Lynch. Lynch was overseeing the Department of Justice right around the time that the FBI was considering indicting Hillary Clinton for her email scandal. While both Bill and Loretta pose that the meeting was merely about grandchildren, it wasn’t long after that then-FBI Director James Comey would announce there would be no charges against Hillary.
Or there is the problematic handling of Bowe Bergdahl. Bergdahl was captured and held by the Taliban for five years before Obama negotiated his releseae in exchange for five prisoners in Guantanamo Bay. This was alarming on multiple fronts. First that Bergdahl was captured AFTER he abandoned his post, which led the Army to dishonorably discharge him. Second, this “trade” came when American rhetoric was firmly of the mind that the U.S. did not negotiate with terrorists.
Finally there was the whopper of a lie for which Obama even won an award. In 2013 Politifact selected Obama as the winner for “lie of the year.” This was in regards to his statement on the Affordable Care Act where he swore, “If you like your health care plan, you can keep it.”
While President Trump’s presidency has been far from squeaky clean, neither was Obama’s.
