President Trump began to crack down on Russia after declaring that “all options” were open in order to persuade the Kremlin to remove troops recently dispatched to Venezuela.
The news comes after reports showed that two Russian air force planes allegedly carrying 100 members of Russian special forces and cybersecurity personnel arrived in Caracas.
Trump explained to reporters that, “Russia has to get out,” while meeting with Fabiana Rosales ,the wife of opposition leader Juan Guaido.
The United States as well as most Western countries have supported Guaido as the rightful leader of Venezuela. China and Russia however, have thrown their support behind current President Nicolas Maduro.
When asked how he intended to get Russia to leave, Trump replied, “We’ll see. All options are open.”
