There are many reasons for someone to leave their job, they move, find different opportunities or retire. However one profession is seeing a spike in walk-outs for a very different reason, they saw a movie.
“Unplanned” a recently released film about the horrific behind the scenes truths about Planned Parenthood is causing many in the profession to walk out the door.
As many as 94 clinic workers have sought new employment since watching the movie that documents the struggle of clinic director turned pro-life advocate, Abby Johnson.
The film’s writer and director, Chuck Konzelman shared with a Senate Subcommittee that these individuals approached Johnson’s nonprofit seeking help in distancing themselves from their current jobs.
Johnson’s organization, And Then There Were None, strives to “help abortion clinic workers leave the abortion industry.” With the help of this movie they are certainly helping to change lives for the better.
