President Donald Trump is no fan of former FBI director James Comey and reinforced that opinion in a scalding rebuke of the official.
During a CNN town hall Comey drew the president’s ire by bashing numerous decisions made by Trump and Comey even called for the president to be prosecuted for his allegedly obstructing special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe.
“Whether it’s a wise thing to do to a former president, I don’t know,” Comey said of prosecuting Trump. But Comey stated that there “sure looks like” enough evidence to do so.
Needless to say Trump was not happy when he heard about the town hall.
Taking to Twitter Trump slammed Comey as “the worst Director in its[FBI] long and once proud history.”
It appears that Comey is still harboring some hard feelings about begin fired by Trump two years ago. Yet his arguments are becoming nothing more than rambling from a person that Senator John Kennedy defined as a “political hack.”
