2020 Presidential Hopeful EXPOSES Democrats EVIL Plan

She just proved our worst fears…

Democrat presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard warned on Sunday that the other 2020 Democrat presidential candidates are promoting policies that are tantamount to having open borders, a policy position that she does not support.

Gabbard made the remarks in an interview on “The Rubin Report” with host Dave Rubin where she explained that she is against the policies being pushed by the rest of the Democrat Party because “without secure borders, we don’t really have a country.”

“So immigration, I think there’s a general sense that the candidates, the Democrats are basically trying to outdo each other for open borders, something like that,” Rubin said on the issue. “Do you think that’s a fair way to start the question and … where do you sit on that?”

“I think it’s fair,” Gabbard responded. “I don’t support open borders. Without secure borders, we don’t really have a country and while some of the other Democratic candidates will say, ‘Well, open borders, that’s a conservative argument and that’s not really what’s being advocated for,’ if you look at some of the practical implications of some of the things they are pushing for, it is essentially open borders.”

Gabbard noted that while she might not agree that a border wall is needed across the entire length of the U.S.-Mexico border, a border wall is needed in certain areas to secure the border.

“It’s about seeing again what makes sense. I look at things from a practical, objective-oriented standpoint; I’m a soldier,” Gabbard continued. “So I look at, secure the borders, what’s our objective. In some places, it may make the most sense to have a wall or some kind of other physical barriers in place; in other places it won’t make sense. So you use technology and you use all the other tools that you have ultimately to accomplish that objective of security at the borders.”

Gabbard continued by highlighting the fact that the current legal immigration system in the United States “is not working for anybody. It’s not working for our economy, it’s not working for our businesses, it’s not working for our farmers, it’s not working for our families.”

Gabbard is not alone in warning Americans that the Democrats are pushing for open borders as Jeh Johnson, who ran the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under former President Barack Obama, said the same thing earlier this year.

“That is tantamount to declaring publicly that we have open borders,” Johnson said speaking on Democrats’ policies. “That is unworkable, unwise and does not have the support of a majority of American people or the Congress, and if we had such a policy, instead of 100,000 apprehensions a month, it will be multiples of that.”

Gabbard, who did not qualify for this week’s presidential debate, has vowed to continue campaigning “debate or no debate because we know that it is ‘We, the People’ who decide who gets to lead our country.”

In July, Gabbard filed a lawsuit in federal court against Google alleging that the far-left tech giant infringed on her free speech after it suspended her campaign’s advertising account following the first Democrat presidential debate where she was the most-searched candidate on Google.
