She’s gone off the deep end…
According to The Blaze, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren claimed the Senate filibuster is actually a racist rule that not originally envisioned by the Founding Fathers, but by the pre-Civil War South to “veto any effective civil rights legislation or anti-lynching legislation.”
“The filibuster has deep roots in racism, and it should not be permitted to serve that function, or to create a veto for the minority. In a democracy, it’s majority rules,” she said.
Warren has used the filibuster before, most recently as a way to prevent a vote on Republican Sen. Tim Scott’s bill on police reform.
