He should have kept his mouth shut.
Recently, late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel slammed Sean Hannity’s interview with Caitlyn Jenner and called Jenner “an ignorant a**hole.” Host Sean Hannity was having none of it and hit back saying the real “ignorant a**hole” is Kimmel.
Jenner had said, “My friends are leaving California. My hangar — the guy across — he was packing up his hangar, and I said, ‘Where are you going?’ And he says, ‘I’m moving to Sedona, Arizona. I can’t take it anymore. I can’t walk down the streets and see the homeless.”
Kimmel goaded saying, “This is how well Caitlyn Jenner understands the plight of everyday Californians here in LA. … Ah, homeless people: can’t walk around them, can’t fly over them. Is it transphobic to call a trans person an ignorant a**hole? Or does calling that trans person an ignorant a**hole — even though she happens to be a trans person — show that we don’t discriminate against ignorant a**holes, no matter what their gender orientation? It’s a tough one. I don’t know, I guess we’ll let the Internet decide tomorrow.”
Because of Kimmel’s statement, Hannity said during his show, “Far-left, low-rated late night host Jimmy Kimmel is spewing more hatred and more rage, saying, ‘Is it transphobic to call a trans person an ignorant a**hole?’ in response to our interview with Caitlyn Jenner, talking about the real problem of homelessness. Jimmy, what is with all the anger and all the cheap shots? Yeah, if you haven’t noticed, homeless people all over your state.”
“Jimmy, here’s my advice: Don’t talk about my show any more.”
