Mara Gay, New York Times’ editorial board member, appeared on MSNBC Tuesday and enraged the whole country by using the word “disturbing” when talking about the American flag.
This is the exact context of her words:
“I was on Long Island this weekend visiting a really dear friend, and I was really disturbed. I saw, you know, dozens and dozens of pickup trucks with explicatives [sic] against Joe Biden on the back of them, Trump flags, and in some cases just dozens of American flags, which is also just disturbing … Essentially the message was clear: This is my country. This is not your country. I own this.”The Gateway Pundit
Luckily, America is waking up, and I can only imagine how sorry this libtard was when she saw the immediate avalanche of fuming reactions.
And she deserves every bit of it.
Can you imagine the audacity behind Gay’s words?
Moreover, can you imagine how putrid the public speech climate is for someone on the left to think it’s OK to say something as nasty as this?
In a normal media outlet, any staff member would be fired over this. But, to make matters worse, New York Times is actually trying to defend Gay’s words.
These are the people who are supposed to bring us the news about what’s going on in our country.
