Guess Who Just Sued Our Police

‘The liberal madness continues,’ that would be just as good a title for this article.

The Los Angeles chapter of Black Lives Matter (BLMLA) filed a lawsuit against the city of Santa Monica in an attempt to prevent the police from doing their job in their future events.

The Los Angeles Times reported that the suit “seeks class-action status, accuses the city and the Santa Monica Police Department of using excessive force against protesters, arresting them without justification and subjecting them to inhumane conditions while detained.” According to the outlet, “It also alleges that the department unjustly focused on peaceful protesters while ignoring individuals who were burglarizing stored and committing other crimes nearby, and misused emergency curfew orders to clear the streets of legitimate demonstrators.”

You read that right – BLM thinks it should be illegal for police to intervene in any of their events no matter what the ‘protestors’ do.

Bear in mind that these are the people who are responsible for billions of dollars in damage to the US cities.

Property Claim Services, a company that tracks insurance claims, said that the BLM George Floyd protests will cost the insurance industry much more than anything in the near past.

That number could be as much as $2 billion and possibly more, according to the Insurance Information Institute (or Triple-I), which compiles information from PCS and other firms that report such statistics.

Pause for a moment and think about the audacity behind this lawsuit. Imagine asking for immunity to tear down the strongholds of this great country.

Liberal madness, I tell you.
